Campus News

We have a full house again this fall with over eighty students from all over the US and several foreign countries.

The maintenance shop (next to the main office) has now been converted into a barn. All barns are now box stalls and there are stalls for 150 horses. The maintenance shop has been moved to what used to be "the fort". A new teaching booth has been constructed between wide and long arenas so training instructors can view both arenas at the same time. A new classroom has been added in the building that used to be "the barracks".

The new bridge that joins the two sides of campus has been completed. The bridge was made higher and widened. All of these projects have been keeping Ron busy, but you know there will always be more!

Meredith Manor went through a re-accreditation last year which is a year long process that includes a very thorough self evaluation and a team visit lasting several days. The visit went great and we were granted a five year term, which is the longest term that is given.

At MM I learned not only everything I needed to know about horses, but that I had the ability to pull my desire out and really put it to use.
